International economic integration is considered as a prominent global trend, which deeply influences international relations, the socio-economic life of nations. Over the recent years in Vietnam, international economic integration activities have achieved many positive results due to the ongoing efforts of the government, businesses, organizations, and individuals. The comprehensive and effective integration process has significantly improved the investment and business environment in Vietnam; Vietnamese businesses have also gained numerous opportunities to expand their operations and assert their dominance on the global market.

 

In the present context, green transformation and digital transformation (the twin transition) are considered as growing trends and are gradually becoming objectives in sustainable development policies across numerous countries. Vietnam is no exception to this trend, as Vietnamese businesses are increasingly making more substantial strategic investments to promptly adapt to the new emerging trends.

 

Recognizing the urgent demand of the business community and building on the success of previous events, in 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Center of International Integration Support under Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies (HIDS | CIIS) and Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Association (HUBA) will continue to jointly organize Ho Chi Minh City International Economic Integration Forum 2024 (IEIF 2024) with the theme "Promoting new economic models towards sustainable development".
